How is this different from hiring an agency?

There's no account manager, no discovery phase, no slide deck. You email me. I build the thing. You go back to seeing patients. If you want a quarterly retainer with a kickoff workshop, I'm not your guy.

Do I own the website?

Accepted Answer

You own your domain and everything that's yours: your name, your photos, your copy, your logo. The code, design, and hosting setup stay with me. If we ever part ways, I'll return your assets within 7-days, and you're free to find another provider or service.

Will I have to learn a CMS?

Accepted Answer

No. You email me changes and I push them, usually in 5-7 business days for non-urgent changes. No dashboards, no logins, no plugin updates at 11pm.

What about AHPRA advertising compliance?

Built in from the start. No patient testimonials, no superlatives, no comparative claims, no before/afters where they don't belong. If you want me to flag something on your existing site that breaches AHPRA guidelines, I'll do that for free.

What does it cost?

How long does a build take?

A rebuild usually goes live in 1-2 weeks. A new clinic site from scratch is 2-3 weeks depending on how much you already have, and how quickly you can send me your assets. I take 2-3 builds a month, so the wait to start is usually a few weeks.

What if I already have HotDoc or HealthEngine?

They keep working. I integrate them properly into any build I do. You won't have to change anything.

What happens if I want to leave Site-as-a-Service?

You give me a month's notice. I point your domain wherever you want, hand over your content, and we part ways. You keep your domain, your name, your written copy and your photos. The code and the design system stay with Wumbo.

Do you work outside Perth?

Yes. We can do the whole thing over email and your videocall client of choice.

What if I don't like the first draft?

That's what the review round is for. One consolidated round of feedback is included, and I'll do a second if you need it. If we're still not aligned after that, you don't pay.

Do you do logos / branding from scratch?

Accepted Answer

Light branding, yes. Simple logos, colour palette and a coherent brand voice. If you want a full brand identity engagement with focus groups and brand books, I'm not your guy.
